Give Me Jesus

Christ-Centered

True worship is Christ-centered. The purpose of worship is not to produce an emotional experience by the use of good mood music and a great talk, but to acknowledge God’s worthiness to be worshipped as the one and only God full of mercy and truth.

Many forget how important it is to worship God in a manner pleasing to Him. God looks at the heart and the life of a person, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit helps them to live a life of holiness. A life of worship is not only seen during Sundays but also every day, every moment, in constant focus and connection with the Father as the object of worship.

When we allow ourselves to be molded by the guidance of the Holy Spirit and His Word, coupled with worshipping God unceasingly, our hearts and minds will be renewed, and our character will be formed according to God’s will.

Worship is our appreciation of who God is and what He has done for us. We give Him the praise and the glory because He deserves it. Worship is totally dependent on the Triune God, and it is solely for Him. But truth be told, worshippers also get something from worship. It is the understanding of how great God is, how holy He is, and the appropriate action to this wisdom are changed lives.
