Most of you don't know that it's been my long time dream to write a blog, have my own website, and maybe own a clothing company. This year I made a pact to myself and ask God to give me clarity on what could be my word for the year; He then led me to this word, PURSUE.
I listed some of the dreams I needed to pursue and mind you, it's a lot! By God's grace and a little push from my wife, I started writing again, and use my little knowledge I have of building a website (this is my 3rd website I built on my own...) and challenge myself to bring about some of my t-shirt designs I had in the past; and www.mhonsi.com has been born!
This is just the beginning of something new exciting and fresh! The purpose of pursuing this dream is to inspire other worshippers like me to take the idea and truth about worship not just in the confinements of Sunday morning but as a lifestyle. Wearing the apparels and accessories that speaks about worshipping God as our Lord and Savior helps in propagating the Gospel. It gives us the opportunity also to tell other people what God has done for us even without saying anything.
What is your word for the year? I'm sure you have one in mind, and whatever that is make sure to live it out! If you're like me, your word for the year is PURSUE, this is the best year to start pursuing your dreams again.
What's Next?
Maybe I will pursue my dream of having my own studio...where some budding worship musicians can come and record their own songs to help the church express their worship to God! Or, maybe I will write a book...yeah that's next!
Whatever it is you feel like pursuing, I want to encourage you to just work on it. It's not easy to start, but along the way you will learn a lot about life that you can use in any situation you have.
Oh by the way....
We went to this store in San Francisco and I was really happy because I'm a lefty...but the more I look into their store I realized I have adjusted as a lefty in the world of right handed people! So all is good!
